Q:Should I use Synthetic Motor Oil?
A:Synthetic Oils provide a great corrision package, offer longer drain intervals so you don't have to stop to change your oil as often, usually 10,000 miles or more, and help stop dependance on imported oil. A green alternative.
Q:My car just hit 100,000 miles, what maintence shoud I do?
A:All cars and trucks are a little different on the maintence required, please contact us and we can perforn a instant fluid analyis to find out what services are due, and provide a quote for you.
Q:Do I need to turn my rotors when I do my brakes?
A:It depends on what kind of car or truck you have, some rotors are not serviced, others if they meet minimum thickness can be done with our onsite brake lathe to increase braking performance and reduce shaking when braking.
Q:What brake pads should I put on my car?
A:Brake pads should be matched to your driving style, if you drive hard, tow a trailer, carry supplies in a van a severve duty pads will prevent shaking when braking and offer a longer life. Please call and descibe your braking problems so we can help solve them for you!
Q:Do I need to flush the brake fluid?
A:Most modern cars and trucks have anti-lock brakes and traction control that are very expensive, condensation forms in the brake fluid when the heat builds up then cools off, a fluid flush is a way to prevent failure of these expensive modules as well as keep the brakes performing at a top level.
Q:How do I know if I need to replace my belts?
A:On the newer cars, the belts a re made of a new rubber, we have a special tool to measure wear, on older cars pre-2003, the belts cracked or 60,000 miles was the replacement interval on drive belts.
